Road Atlanta hosts the famous Petit Le Mans (PLM) race annually. A thrilling 10 hour race which ends in darkenss. 2008 marks the 'PLM' race's 10th anniversary as part of the American Le Mans Series.

Nearby the circuit is Chateau Elan Vineyard, owned and operated by the Panoz Family who also own Panoz Automobiles. Panoz Racing School and the Road Atlanta venue.
