Creation driver Jamie Campbell-Walter was a surprise entrant in the Mike Jankowski-owned Cougar-Porsche 3 litre C26S Group C1 at the Silverstone Classic weekend recently (July 24).
Jamie reported that driving the Cougar once again, was great fun and the weekend was most enjoyable. The ex-Courage Competition Cougar, in 'Le Mans' trim adorned the original Courage sponsors 'Radio Nostalgie' and 'Department De La Sarthe' as it appeared in the 1991 Le Mans 24 Heures, as driven by Lionel Robert, Claude Andruet and Jean-Daniel Raulet to a fine 11th place overall finish all those years ago.
Best result for JC-W was 6th overall, sharing the car with Paul Stott. Thanks to David Dykes for the image and for Claude Foubert for the French report on http://www.endurance-info.com
