QUICK RACE REPORT....... The city of Barcelona, and the Circuit de Catalunya in particular played host to the first round of the Le Mans Series (LMS) season. Creation-AIM entered one car for the 1000kms race, for Jamie Campbell-Walter, Felipe Ortiz and Stuart Hall. Qualifying was carried out by JC-W, managing a 12th place start position against very tough opposition. Jamie go off to a great start in the race, quickly setting an excellent, consistent pace and by doing so he moved up the order to 6th place chasing down a factory Audi R10-TDI in the process, before handing over the AIM backed Creation CA07 to team mate Stuart Hall. Hall continued the good work from Jamie and maintained a high race pace until 25 laps into his stint when he was forced to pit early with a slipping clutch. Frustration was all over the faces of the Creation squad as they had just realised the possibilty of a podium result slip away from their grasp. Nevertheless the crew changed the clutch and JC-W, Felipe and Stuart used the rest of the race as a test session, which, incidentally ran without fault. Quali position - 12th Race result - 11th
